I intern as a digital strategist for Quack Cave, a digital media hub specializing in Oregon athletics. Quack Cave has a variety of different social media platforms to monitor and post on while making sure to keep the brand voice consistent.
Goal: To use hashtags effectively to strengthen fan experience by supporting the brand voice.
Result: By using these various hashtags, fans are able to correlate the hashtags with Quack Cave. This results in significantly more retweets, likes and mentions.
Photoshop is an important part of working at Quack Cave as it is proven that picture tweets are 94 percent more likely to be retweeted and clicked on, therefore seen by more people. At Quack Cave I photoshop action images and add information about the upcoming game or tournament while using Oregon fonts and design elements.
Goal: To increase the amount of views and to provide a visual yet informational tweet for Oregon students and fans.
Results: Significantly more views and retweets as well as interaction with the fans and team that was being tweeted about.
