For our client, my team and I put together a social media calendar after we started an Instagram and Twitter for the event. We made themes for each week leading up to the event that related to archery. We also created a HootSuite account to manage the twitter account and create tweets in advance to be sent out on certain days.
So far The Benefit Shoot has 15 new followers with almost 2 likes per tweet. We have been slowly increasing the number of followers but we are waiting for the poster to be printed and distributed with the twitter handle on it. We are excited to see the results after the event happens in April. The Benefit Shoot Instagram has also been an important part of increasing the number of people to become aware of the event.
My team and I made a PR plan to organize our research, put together our audience profiles, create objectives, strategies, tactics, key messages and evaluations as well as a timeline and budget.

My team and I created a media kit in order to spread awareness of the event. In the media kit we included a background, media advisory, map of the location with directions and press release. For our client we also created a media contact list and wrote and email pitch for each news source.
